Boxster, Cayman, 986, 987, 996, 997 oil filter housing removal tool. Compatible with all engines that appear in these vehicles. Complete with - a 27mm nut (suitable for a socket or spanner) for removing a "tight" oil filter housing and also for "torquing" up during filter housing reinstallation - a castellated top making it very easy to refit the oil filter housing using only your hands (especially when your hands are oily/greasy). The filter housing should only be tightened to 25Nm. Tighten "hand tight" first, then double check with a torque wrench. A mandatory tool for anybody wanting to change the oil or service their Porsche Note, traditional forms of oil filter strap wrench are not recommended for removing the plastic oil filter housing as these have a tendency to crush, damage and even crack the housings. Furthermore, the final installation torque can not be checked using a strap or chain wrench.
Item as described. Fast delivery. Easy to fit.
